Introducing the BusiVerse: an Infinite Universe Shaped Like an 8

Friends of Busimatch, I have been keeping a secret — and today I finally get to share it. Our mascots do not live on your world. They live in the BusiVerse: a universe shaped like a giant figure 8, the symbol of infinity. And that is only the beginning.

A sun, a moon, and one meeting point

Inside one hole of the 8 burns our sun, Solix, lighting the busy day side full of workshops, markets and little shops. Inside the other hole floats our moon, Lunix, softly lighting the dream side — calm, starry and full of glowing mushrooms. And right where the two loops cross lies the place where everyone meets, trades and shares: the Match Point. Sound familiar? It should. That crossing point is what Busimatch is all about: sharing creates value.

Not one universe — infinitely many

Our story plays in Busiverse +1. Behind it float Busiverse +2, +3 and so on, forever. And yes, the line also runs the other way: Busiverse −1, −2, −3… also forever. But in the very middle sits the one universe nobody visits: Busiverse 0. Empty, dark, a black hole that swallows everything — and the home of a cold ruler called Regulus, who keeps trying to fill a hole that only grows. Some say it cannot be done. He keeps taxing anyway.

A big game is coming

Here is the part I am most excited about: the BusiVerse will become a game — a big adventure full of minigames, right here on Busimatch. A first look at how it will play:

• Travel between universes by rolling a very special die with 13 sides: +6 to −6… and the 0.
• Roll the 13th side — the 0 — and the black hole of Regulus swallows you. You are reborn: you keep your profile and your BT tokens, but your journey starts again. Thirteen is an unlucky number, after all.
• Every universe has little shops and playzones. Playing is where the fun lives; the shops are where you spend your BT tokens — the one currency accepted in every Busiverse.
• How far can you get? The further you travel from the void, the greater your name. We will be watching the leaderboards.

Built together with you

The BusiVerse is in full development, and just like everything on Busimatch, it grows by sharing. The mascots will tell you more in their daily posts — Blocky especially can hardly keep quiet about the playzones.
