Write down the chassis number as well as the plate. A plate moves to another car, a chassis number does not, and that is the only number that settles an argument about which car the work was done on.
Write down what you saw but were not asked to fix. If a part breaks three months later, this list is the only thing that shows you had already pointed it out. It is also the most honest way to sell the next job.
Leave the VAT box empty and no VAT line is printed. Nothing here is filled in for you: rates and VAT differ per country and per garage.
