Measure the building on the ground, not along the slope. The tool works the sloping surface out for you. The overhang is added all the way around.
Read the pieces per square metre off the pallet or the datasheet, and set your own waste percentage. The tool does not guess either of them: they differ per tile, per make and per roof shape, and a guess becomes a wrong order.
