Step 1Open the tool. There is nothing to install, and it keeps working without internet.

Step 2Choose a size, or type your own measurements in centimetres.

Step 3Choose the material or the item you want to print on.

Step 4Set the mounting: drill holes, standoffs or tape. Also choose square or rounded corners and whether the print gets a laminate.

Step 5Add your photos. Drag them into place and pull a corner to resize them.

Step 6Type your text, pick a font and a colour, and place it on the design.

Step 7Duplicate, rotate or remove a part with the buttons. Parts must not overlap.

Step 8Read the check. It tells you whether the sign fits on one sheet or has to be split, what it weighs, how hard the wind pushes on it and how much that is per fixing, and whether the text on your design can actually be read from the distance you enter. The letter heights are measured on the real letters, not estimated.

Step 9Watch the quality message. Green means sharp enough, red means the photo is too small.

Step 10The price works itself out while you design. You can change the rates yourself.

Step 11Download the print-ready PDF.

Step 12Pro members unlock the tool once through the shop. After that it works offline too.

Step 13Done, or something went wrong? Open the dashboard and start over with a clean sheet.
